As part of the largest Saab service organization in America, our Service Department at CRS is renown for an innovative TEAM approach. Each one of our customers and their vehicles is assigned to a specific Team. At most shops your car is given to one mechanic who is expected to fix all facets of the vehicle regardless of their level of experience. At CRS you get to know and be known by a specific Assistant Service Manager (ASM), who works with a Team of technicians to ensure that the many components of your Saab are examined and tended to by trained professionals. And with a Service Team that averages 15+ years of history here, you can be assured that we know almost everything there is to know about Saabs!

Department Staff:
Alfredo Dias Shuttle/Porter Alfredo has been with Charles River Saab since 1995. The story of his getting his US citizenship is documented in a film shown at the Constitution Museum in Philadelphia! Alfredo is the owner of two 1999 9-5's.	Rick Furlan Technician Until his father, Rick Furlan Sr., retired from the shop floor after 33 years, Rick was always known as Junior. With his dad enjoying retirement, and Rick now a father himself, "Junior" goes by the wayside. Rick has 20 years of Saab experience, 9 with Charles River Saab, and having recently sold his Classic convertible, Rick enjoys a pair of 9-5's.	Paul Carter Technician Paul started with Saab in the early days of the classic 900! He joined Charles River Saab in 2003. Paul currently drives a 1999 9-5.
Jim Carfagno Service Advisor Jim is one of our most senior associates. Having started with Saab in 1985, he joined Charles River Saab in 1987. Jim has been a hockey player his entire life, and was invited to try-out for the US Olympic Team in the 1980s. Jim drives a 1996 900T Convertible and a 2006 9-5.	Ralph Bockoven Technician, Team Leader Ralph has been servicing Saabs at Charles River Saab for 21 years. Perhaps the most passionate Saab enthusiast in our midst, Ralph is the very proud owner of a 1999 9-5, 1993 900T, 1991 9000T, a 1967 Sonett, a 1963 96 and his multiple-award winning 1968 Sonett V4.	Chris Clancy Lead Technician Chris has serviced Saabs for 20 years, 16 of those here at Charles River Saab. Chris drives a 1997 900T and a 2001 9-5 Wagon
Mike Clancy Technician Mike has spent 38 years working on Saabs. He is on his second tour with Charles River Saab, having logged 9 years here. Mike has a 1994 Classic 900 Convertible, a 1995 9000 and a 1997 900S.	Craig DeMeo Apprentice Technician Craig is finishing his final leg of his co-operative education in the GM ASEP program at Mass. Bay Community College. A magna cum laude graduate of Bentley College, Craig is at the top of his class at Mass Bay as well. We see a bright future for Craig, and look forward to having him here for years to come.	Jeffrey Furlan Technician Jeff is a second generation technician at Charles River Saab. Jeff has made his own mark here, with 14 years of experience. He drives a 2000 9-5 and has a 1991 9000T as well.
Matt Gennetti Matt has 9 years of experience with Saab and Charles River Saab. He drives a 1994 9000.	Rusty Parker Shop Foreman Rusty has been here since 1996, and over all has 23 years of experience with Saab. When the Parker family comes home for dinner, it must look like a Saab convention. Along with his wife (who works for Mercedes but drives a Saab!) and daughters, Rusty has 4 9-5's and 1 9-3 in his driveway!	Rudy Perez Porter Rudy has been at Charles River Saab for 3 years. He doesn't have a Saab yet, but we're working on it!
Wesley Reid Porter/Building Maintenance Wesley, a former captain of the Jamaican Boxing Team and New England Middleweight Champion, has worked at Charles River Saab since 1987. Wesley owns a 1996 900T, 1994 9000 Aero and a 2001 9-3 Convertible.	Fernando Saldana Reconditioning Technician Fernando has been plying his magic as our in-house reconditioning technician for 14 years. Fernando drives a 1993 9000T.	Rodney Sautier Technician Rodney has 11 years of Saab experience, with 10 of those years logged at Charles River Saab. Rodney is the proud owner of a 1999 9-3, 1996 9000, 2000 9-3 and a 1988 900 Convertible.
Liam Telfer Technician Liam has 19 years of Saab experience. 11 years were spent here, and the balance in his native UK. Liam is now driving a 2001 9-5 Aero.	Peter Vincent, Jr. Service Advisor Peter (yes, he is the son of our esteemed Parts Manager) has worked for Charles River Saab for 8 years, the last 3 for the Service Department.	Seth Wonkka Service Advisor Seth has 6 years of Saab experience, the last three years at Charles River Saab. The most prolific Saab owner we know, he has owned 18 of them! When not picking out his next Saab, Seth works at his singing and songwriting. He recently sold his 9-5 Aero Wagon and is now driving a 1994 9000.
Pierre Belperron Service Manager Pierre has been with Saab since 1984 and Charles River Saab since 1989. When not at Charles River Saab, he can be found playing his French horn or his cello, or doing skid school training for Stevens Advanced Driver Training. He currently owns a 1991 900S, 1992 900S and 1993 9000 Aero.
